COURSE DESCRIPTION

A supervisor not only needs to be knowledgeable about the work performed by her or his staff, but also must be skilled in managing and motivating people. This course offers and introduction to the role of the supervisor and provides participants with a broad understanding of what it takes to be a good supervisor.

Supervisors, do you have an effective plan for orienting your new employees to ensure their success from day one? Creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for new employees is critical for establishing successful, productive relationships. Effectively integrating your new employees will assist with retention, motivation, job satisfaction, and quickly enable each individual to become a contributing member of the team!
