Proactive Listening for the Workplace & Beyond

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Hearing is easy, but listening is hard! Why is that? It’s simple: Listening requires action! Proactive Listening is a skill set that allows us to not only receive information, but also manage our relationships with co-workers and others. Proactive listening goes a step further than listening for understanding. It lets the speaker know that they matter. It also sets a foundation for reducing conflict, increased productivity, and meeting and exceeding our collective goals. Proactive Listening is an essential tool for our interactions in the workplace and beyond.
